Based-In ALSTN is run by Rabbi Noah Westreich and is located in the Lower Allston neighborhood of Boston, MA.

Originally from Montclair, NJ, Noah is a newcomer to Boston and lived previously in Brooklyn, Los Angeles, and Jerusalem. During the day he teaches middle school Toshba (Torah sheb’al peh) at the Jewish Community Day School of Boston, a K-8 independent, pluralistic Jewish day school. He gets up every morning to feed his cats and drink two espressos made on the equipment he got for his birthday last year.

Noah was ordained by Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion (Reform) and has plenty of experience inside and outside of the denominations. He has served as student rabbi of Kolot Chayeinu in Brooklyn, Congregation Beth Jacob in El Centro, CA, and as a Teaching Fellow at SVARA: A Traditionally Radical Yeshiva.
Noah lives in Allston with his partner Noah (it’s true) who is in graduate school at Harvard pursuing a joint MS/MBA. Together they love cooking, the great outdoors, and being cat dads as well as expectant dog dads. They can’t wait to have you for a meal. Reach out to Rabbi Noah at noah.westreich@moishehouse.org.
